Electrolytic Treatments
Galvanizing is a technique to cover a metal object with a thin layer of another metal (such as gold, nickel, platinum, copper) using electricity to protect it against corrosion (rust) and wear, thereby extending the lifespan. The goal is to create a durable, aesthetic, protective layer, especially for steel.
The main reason for galvanizing is to adjust the appearance and protect the base material. By performing a surface treatment, we can change the technical and aesthetic properties of a component.

Since 1961, Metal Plating Brixen has specialized in electrolytic, mechanical and chemical surface treatments of precious metals and aluminum. Our electroplating department is equipped with a fully automatic system, which enables efficient electroplating of large batches. Due to the volumes of our baths, larger parts can also be treated. For technical or decorative treatments, you are at the right address with us.

Our Workspace
Metal Workshop
Metal Plating Brixen has its own locksmith shop and is also capable of professional restoration works. Custom productions in brass and stainless steel are, of course, possible upon request.
Our Expertise
Grinding/Polishing
The starting point for a perfect surface fundamentally lies in the pretreatment of the items being processed. In our fully equipped polishing room, we create a perfect base for the subsequent electroplating using ultrasonic baths, grinding, and polishing machines.
Optional Extra
Painting Shop
Unlike many electroplating companies, Metal Plating Brixen additionally offers to protect the electroplated items from environmental influences through appropriate painting. Thanks to the in-house painting shop, transports to other companies are unnecessary, and the surfaces are directly treated with a special paint from the automotive industry, thus permanently sealed with the highest level of protection.

Environmental awareness plays a major role at Metal Plating Brixen, particularly with regard to the detoxification system of our electroplating department. Constant controls ensure the safety of our system in terms of environmental protection. In addition, our actual wastewater values are well below the legal requirements, and thus we feed the majority of our water consumption back into the water cycle completely purified.
